Washington Nationals All-Star pitcher, Gio Gonzalez, has been linked to performance enhancing drugs. So says a report in the Miami New Times, and numerous other internet news outlets.
The clinic that was supposedly supplying Gonzalez, and other athletes, is called Biogenesis, and the clinic’s chief was a murky character named Anthony Bosch.
Gonzalez is denying all accusations.
Should the Nationals be without their star left-hander for a significant of time in 2013, it could make the Braves’ road to the Eastern Division title much easier.
Gonzalez, a 27-year old lefty, won 21 games last season with a sparking 2.89 ERA.
